A bit about your role

As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution and management of key initiatives within the New Developments programme. This includes overseeing both tech capex and non-capex initiatives that align with our Business Unit objectives, such as the development of new propositions, performance metric enhancements, and business change initiatives.

You will be part of the New Developments Developer Experience and Products (DX&P) function, with a primary focus on planning and overseeing projects. This involves managing resources, teams, schedules, financials, risks, and stakeholders to deliver projects that drive tangible business value. Your efforts will directly support nbn's roadmap and key outcomes, ensuring the business continuously evolves and improves.

A bit about you

If this role sounds like a great fit for you, you will likely have significant experience in project/program management, coordinating multiple complex projects with cross-functional virtual teams within a technology-driven enterprise. You’ll be well versed with a deep understanding of project concepts, principles, products, and tools, with significant experience managing complex business or product development projects for large service providers, utilities, or government customers, ideally in the telecommunications sector.

You will likely have the ability to demonstrate your expertise in process re-engineering, business improvement, transformation and change management, with the ability to analyse complex problems and devise innovative solutions. Working knowledge of various project delivery methodologies including PMBOK, Agile and anything in between.

You have exceptional people management skills, with the ability to effectively present to senior management, providing an end-to-end view of project status, coupled with strong communication, interpersonal skills, and proven ability to establish enduring business relationships and personal credibility with internal, external, and customer stakeholders.
