About the Opportunity
We are seeking a seasoned and accomplished Senior ProjectManager to lead the successful implementation of a critical core bankingproject. This project will be instrumental in modernizing our banking platform,improving operational efficiency, and providing a superior customer experience.Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, key responsibilities include:
- Support to the development of business case documents, RFPand Tender process/vendor selection to support the core banking project
- Preparation of a project plan (including scope, budget,schedule, resources, and risk management), with tracking, managing andreporting timely execution of activities and deviations.
- Plan and conduct workshops and discussions to ensure thedevelopment of business and functional specifications documents/requirementsand test cases.
- Monitor project progress against KPIs and milestones, makingtimely adjustments as needed.
- Monitor and Report Financial budgets vs actuals,coordination of vendor payments and resource capitalization
- Lead and motivate a cross-functional team of stakeholders,including business analysts, developers, IT specialists, and vendors.
- Maintain good relationship with internal/externalstakeholders and vendors; manage expectations with project controls to ensuregovernance.
- Manage project risks and issues proactively, developingmitigation strategies and contingency plan
- Conduct regular project reviews and presentations, reportingto senior management on project status and risks, including timely escalations
About You
We are seeking a passionate self-starter who has a genuinedrive to learn quickly with the following qualifications, skills andexperience:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, inthe financial services industry
- Experience in core banking project lifecycle/implementations
- Certification in Project Management (PMP)
- Proficient with Project Management tools
- Proven experience in leading and delivering complex projectson time and within budget.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonalskills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Great presentation skills
- Proven track record of building and maintaining strongrelationships with stakeholders
