About the role:
As Senior Project Manager, IT, you'll be responsible for the development and delivery of project/program management and business change management. You'll support the day to day management, implementation and delivery of various projects and programs, utilising best practice project and change management methodologies, processes and frameworks to deliver project, program and organisational objectives. This includes contributing to the ongoing improvement of IT services to the university and the continuous improvement of project management and PMO practices. Key to your success will be in your ability to develop and manage relationships within the project team, the broader IT team, ACU stakeholders and external vendors (as appropriate), whilst ensuring delivery is aligned to project/program strategy and goals.
More specifically the role entails:
- Planning project programs and delivery timelines across a range of technologies (Saas, Cloud, Infrastructure, OTS product configuration and rollout, bespoke solution development and more).
- Managing vendors, stakeholders and internal resources.
- Working with IT leadership on innovation initiatives.
- Working with stakeholders across the university to define, scope, instigate and delivery projects.
- Work closely with the Innovation and Change team including Business Analysts, Solutions Architects, Change Managers and Commercial Team to drive positive change for our staff and students.

- Total remuneration valued to $151,211 - $161,352 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $127,838 - $136,506 (pro rata) pa (HEW 9), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

- Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
