Form of workOur client, part of a progressive group of companies operating for our 25 years in the property development and construction sector, are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a proven track record in the delivery of large-scale medium density, low-level apartment, and light industrial projects.

With it head office located on the outskirts of Melbourne CBD, you will be part of the senior leadership team reporting to the General Manager.
ABOUT YOU
We are wanting a professional Project Manager ready to take on a senior leadership role with a strong background in commercial contract administration, project management and key stakeholder relations.
Must have a proven track record from within the residential sector, particularly in large-scale townhouses, low-level apartments, and light industrial (advantageous), with a demonstrated ability to manage large projects effectively.
Strong leadership and communication skills and have the relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or a related field.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide and lead specialist project planning and project management expertise from project inception to completion.
- Oversee and manage the core project management activities, resources, and advice to support these projects through to completion within scope, time, and budget constraints.
- Prioritise safety, quality, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead the project performance reviews (budget, forecast, variations and risk mitigation) at company’s PCG meetings.
- Ambassador for the business and the fostering of client relations.
THE INDIVIDUAL
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in construction management or a related field.
- Solid background in commercial contract administration, with at least 5 years plus of project management experience.
- Proven track record in applying skills to Large Scale Residential projects.
- Experience with Jobpac, Cheops, MS Project.
- Proficient across AS 4300 or similar commercial contracts.
- A strong understanding of domestic construction principles.
