Our Federal Government client is seeking Project Officers at the APS 6 level to join the Cyber Affairs and Critical Technology Branch. There are three opportunities across three different teams in the Cyber Cooperation Section. The hiring managers are seeking innovative and driven individual to join a busy and expanding team who are responsible for program delivery on cyber and critical technology issues.
Duties
Opportunities 1 & 2
- Support the implementation of capacity building activities to strengthen cyber and critical tech resilience in the Indo-Pacific region, with a particular focus on the Pacific, through Australia’s Cyber and Critical Tech Cooperation Program
- Coordinate and input into policy briefs and provide secretariat support for official delegations, as required.
- Build relationships and engage with Program delivery partners, including the private sector, Australian Government agencies, civil society and partner countries.
- Support advocacy and public diplomacy activities for the Ambassador for Cyber Affairs and Critical Technology.
- Provide support to Ministers, Senior Executives and other stakeholders as required
Opportunity 3
- Apply Australian government procurement frameworks and advice to recommend appropriate, compliant methods of procuring services and assets for program of work
- Develop procurement documentation, including terms of reference, statements of requirement and contracts for goods or services. Administer procurement activities, evaluate responses, support contract negotiations and submit outcomes for delegate approval, using required processes and templates.
- Support the implementation of capacity building activities to strengthen cyber and critical tech resilience in the Indo-Pacific region, with a particular focus on the Pacific, through Australia’s Cyber and Critical Tech Cooperation Program
