Overview
The Project Officer is responsible to the Senior Manager, Strategy and Projects, for undertaking high-level strategic and project activities for and on behalf of the Rural and Remote Mental Health Service and the 6 Regional Mental Health Services.
The position will work as a member of team to provide strategic: project management, implementation and evaluation, planning, documentation, data analysis and reporting, and business management to country mental health services across the 6 regional Local Health Networks.
The incumbent will be responsible for undertaking the following functions:
- Working collaboratively with regional Mental Health Services and regional Local Health Networks, and the Department for Health and Wellbeing, to achieve outcomes.
- Producing and contributing to briefings, reports, training resources, communications, policies, and contracts.
- Undertaking data collection, data analysis and spreadsheet creation.
- Working and consulting with diverse stakeholders including clinicians, projects officers, administration officers, consumers, carers, non-government organisation staff and community groups and members.
