Role Details
The Senior Project Officer (Communications) leads key COMMUNICATIONS PROJECTs within Safer Family Services (SFS), developing and delivering strategic communication plans, content for intranet and internet sites and materials primarily for the SFS workforce but also to support external partners.The position will proactively identify opportunities, mitigate risk and resolve issues by working collaboratively with DHS Communications, subject matter experts, executives and SFS leaders.Additionally, the role works collaboratively with the SFS Learning and Practice Educator to support implementation of the internal learning and training program.The successful candidate will need to be adaptable and able to work across multiple projects, priorities and business areas autonomously, effectively and with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
Special Conditions
National Police Check required.Employment-related Screening Check required.Some interstate and intrastate travel may be required.Must hold a current Australian issued driver’s licence (equivalent to minimum class C).Covid -19 – will be required to have had two COVID-19 vaccinations prior to engagement with DHS, unless it would be medically unsafe for the employee to do so, or they’re currently employed in the SA public sector and are not required to be vaccinated. Role Status: Term up to 27/09/2024.Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline OR equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training or professional accreditation is desirable.

Screening Checks
