POSITION SUMMARY:
The Royal Commission into Victoria's Mental Health System Final Report sets a comprehensive and ambitious reform agenda that the Victorian Government has committed to implementing in full. We are looking for exceptional individuals to join the Mental Health and Wellbeing Division to support implementation of the Royal Commission's recommendations, with focus on those that directly relate to workforce development for the mental health and alcohol and other drug (AOD) workforces.

The Senior Policy Officer – Implementation Liaison will work as part of a small team to support the implementation of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Workforce Capability Framework across the mental health sector.

The division values and welcomes applications from people with lived experience of mental illness, mental health challenges or psychological distress, including as a family member, carer, or supporter.

Are you

An exceptional communicator with outstanding stakeholder engagement and relationship development skills?

The department is committed to providing and maintaining a working environment which is safe and without risk to the health of its workers and clients. As it is an essential element of any role within the department that employees be able to attend work onsite and to do so safely, employees are required to be up-to-date with their vaccinations against COVID-19 as a condition of their employment.
