ABOUT THE ROLE
The Health Services Branch is seeking applications from enthusiastic and experienced individuals to undertake the role of Senior Project Officer. Health Services Branch provides a range of primary care and mental health and alcohol and other drug (MHAOD) services across WA to patients in custody. Services encompass interventions to identify and manage acute, chronic and mental health conditions, as well as drug addiction and facilitate referral to specialist and tertiary services as required. Population focused health improvement initiatives are also provided including health promotion; disease prevention; infection control; communicable disease outbreak management; and immunisation.
The Senior Project Officer position provides high level assistance and support to the Principal Project Officer in the research, development and implementation of a range of strategic projects and initiatives, working in a supportive and collaborative team environment. As part of the Health Services Branch, this position prepares and presents briefing notes, memos, reports and other documents to inform the strategic decision-making process within the Branch.

Pool Recruitment
This pool will be open for a period of 12 months from the day after the breach of standard claim period closes. Permanent, fixed term, full time and part time appointments may be offered as vacancies arise; however, an appointment is not guaranteed.
