Hays have partnered with a busy federal government agency to appoint a Senior Project Support Officer to an initial 4-month contract, with a strong chance of extension. Working across 4 key projects within a large program of work, this isn't one you want to miss!
Your new role
As the Senior Project Support Officer, you'll work under the general direction of Project Leadership to provide administrative and operational support within the Health Professional Online Service enhancement program. Your day-to-day will be varied, but some of your key duties will involve:
- Apply knowledge of project and program management frameworks and policies
- Assist with managing requirements and communication through scope, traceability, and maintenance
- Produce business analyst artefacts and documents including high-level detailed business needs, detailed business requirement specifications, UAT and BVT testing plans etc.
- Develop and support stakeholder relationships
- Prepare or contribute to change management plans and/or communication plans
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Project Support Officer, with experience in either the health sector or federal government being preferred. You'll possess extensive communication experience, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work independently. Testing experience is ideal, and an existing Baseline Security Clearance is preferred.
Please note, it is a mandatory requirement for this agency that all applicants be Australian Citizens at a minimum.

This role is at an APS6 level, and as such you'll be remunerated at an hourly rate up to $85.00/hour excluding superannuation.
