About the role
Reporting to the CEO you will be responsible for providing high quality administration and support to the Board of Management. This will include:
Arrange and provide support for Board and Committee meetings - including all elements of agenda and minute preparation, minute-taking, action tracking, meeting work plans and electronic posting and distribution of agendas, minutes, and supporting materials.
Attend to meeting set up - including room and technology setup; attendee meal/refreshment; attendee travel arrangements.
Maintain director training and new director induction documentation.
Scheduling assistance and travel arrangements for Board members.
Other administrative activities as required by the Board & Committee Chairs, CEO or Company Secretary.
Regular meetings are held on third and fourth Mondays of each month at 5PM and ad-hoc meetings on Wednesday at 5PM/Tuesday at 8.30AM (roughly quarterly). Availability and willingness to attend meetings is a pre-requisite for the role.
Outside meeting attendance, working from home to complete activities within the timeframes will be considered. With the exception of scheduled meeting times, hours can be flexible and vary dependent on meeting activity, however may average 10-20 hours a fortnight and may be offered on a casual or a permanent part time basis.
Desired Skills and Experience
About you
We are looking for someone who has strong written communication skills, are comfortable with meeting deadlines and are confident in the use of word, excel and PDF programs. We are willing to provide training in the technical areas such as agenda preparation, minute taking and related governance concepts and therefore prior experience in these areas is not a pre-requisite for the role.
A National Police Check is required on commencement in this role.
