We provide the assessment service for the Victorian Department of Education, conducting cognitive and language assessments for students who appear likely to have an intellectual developmental disorder or language disorder with high needs. Information from our assessments and reports is used to help inform educational planning for students and may be used to access funded support through the Program for Students with Disabilities or Disability Inclusion.

The opportunity
As a Senior Psychologist in this role, you will:
- Work collaboratively with the team to manage workflow and meet the needs of the assessment service
- Provide support to Staff and Contractor Psychologists, in the form of mentoring, case discussion and feedback on reports
- Review referrals from schools to determine whether they are appropriate to proceed to assessment, and provide feedback and consultation to school staff around these decisions
- Complete a small number of assessments, determined by workflow and personal preference
- Mobile phone, laptop and assessment tools will be provided
About you
- Experience conducting standardised assessments: WPPSI-IV, WISC-V, WAIS-IV, Vineland-3
- Experience working with school aged children and adolescents
- Ability to provide constructive feedback to colleagues
- Strong assessment and report writing skills
