About the Opportunity
Altrad are seeking an experienced and technically sound Senior Coating/Insulation Quality Advisor/Inspector to join our site team on the Ichthys LNG, located in Darwin NT.
This position attracts an ongoing opportunity working on a 19:9 roster with the point of hire from any capital city in Australia.
Your day-to-day includes:
- Complete coating/insulation quality inspection. Progressive completion of associated Inspection Test Reports (ITRs).
- Undertake surveys of work in progress and complete surveillance reports on findings
- Mentor execution team members through sharing of quality lessons learnt
- Contribute to the progressive compilation of MDRs to ensure accuracy and timely completion and submission.
- Contribute to the development and completion of project specific Quality deliverables and key quality documentation.
- Analysis and reporting of Quality performance and initiate strategies to improve outputs across site
- Ensure quality is kept at the forefront of employee’s minds, ensuring safe quality operational practices, processes, employee education and training, and consultative communications are in place and adhered to
About you
- Experienced in a QA/QC role, preferably in energy, mining and/or construction industry
- Current and valid Quality Inspection certificates such as NACE Level 2 or 3, and ICORR Level 2 or CINI Insulation Inspector are required
- Humidor and STOPAQ experience or qualifications are desirable
- Sound knowledge of quality legislation, industry, and best practice standards and their relevant to the group
- Be well written and demonstrate capability in developing quality documentation including procedures, plans and reports
