- The client is a leading global engineering and project delivery business in the mining sector
- Perth based, but will be working on a scope of work for an existing iron ore mine
Responsibilities
- Review the QA requirements for the tender packages and assist in evaluating tender documentation with the defined criteria.
- Review QA documentation (including quality plans, inspection test plans. MDR Index etc.) submitted by contractors to ensure the requirements are met.
- Conduct quality inspections, surveillance and audits as required.
- Liaison with internal project team member to ensure audits & corrective actions are implemented and closed out.
- Liaison with contractors to ensure quality of goods & services provided.
- Provide support to the Quality Manager in audit activities including maintaining and following up audit actions, the implementation of training related to quality assurance & project improvement initiatives & program for project team member, facilitate workshop and other QA tasks.
Experience/Requirements
- Relevant Qualifications such as; Communications, Commerce, HQEQ etc
- Industry knowledge and experience in Mining & Resources, ideally supporting major projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, paired with the confidence to deliver training workshops to all levels of personnel
- Have formal training and demonstrated experience in quality management system (ISO9001:2015) or equivalent
