About the role
Northern NSW LHD Cancer Services offers an opportunity for a Senior Radiation Therapist (Clinical Educator) to join our team. This 6-month contract will be in place for the period of 8th July 2024 to 5th January 2025.
The Senior Radiation Therapist (Clinical Educator) will lead the provision of clinical education and training activities for the Radiation Therapy teams across Lismore Base Hospital and Tweed Valley Hospital. We are seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist with a passion for training and development, as well as demonstrated ability delivering high quality, patient centric radiation therapy.
As a Senior Radiation Therapist (Clinical Educator) working in Northern NSW LHD, you will be provided regular rotations through CT, Planning and Treatment. Our modern services include IMRT/ VMAT, comprehensive stereotactic services, SGRT (including tattoo-less techniques), 4DCT and image guided treatment protocols. Our Radiation Therapists are encouraged to contribute to service improvements through projects and research. We pride ourselves on delivering the best possible care to our community and are looking for staff who have a passion for person-centered care.
Our Radiation Therapists are offered variable rosters, including the option of working full time hours in 4 days a week or a 9-day fortnight.
The successful candidate can be located at either Lismore Base Hospital or Tweed Valley Hospital, with regular travel between the sites required. Full time, part time and job share arrangements will be considered.
