Jacobs has an opportunity for a Senior Rail Civil Designer to join our rail team in our Brisbane office. In the role of Senior Rail Civil Designer you will take advantage of new developments and improvements in technology to create capability and manage all aspects of the engineering design and drawing deliverables for your allocated responsibility. You will have the opportunity to work closely with project and design managers, project information managers and BIM coordinators, and inspire them to strive for innovation while maintaining outstanding digital design delivery. Coordination of Global Integrated Delivery teams will form a key part of your role. An objective will be to train and develop teams to become proficient in the relevant standards and digital design requirements to deliver projects for our Transport clients. Here's what you'll need: Demonstrated experience & understanding of the civil design process including rail formation, track alignment, drainage, earthworks, roads and general civils across greenfield & brownfield environments Co-ordination of work with other design disciplines and the efficient ownership and delivery of projects through all project design lifecycle stages within budget, program and quality constraints High level and advanced design (Navis works, Revit, 12D, Civil 3D or Open Rail or Bentley Power RailTrack) and AutoCAD skills, with thorough knowledge of data transfer between key software packages Experience in the management of Common Data Environments including Bentley ProjectWise is highly regarded Technology Innovation - lead & implement, drive solutions & deliver efficiencies Jacobs.
