Form of workVentia, in partnership with the Australian Defence Force are seeking a talented Senior Regional Plannerto join the team at our state-of-the-art facility in Moorebank, NSW.
The successful applicant will work 7:00am - 3:45pm, Monday to Thursday, and 7:00am to 12:00pm (noon) on Fridays to kick off the weekend. The position offers $110,000 TFR.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
This role will see you responsible for planning of maintenance activities, ensuring effective, efficient, and best practice resourcing, progress monitoring and performance assessment and reporting.
- Leading the planning and trade repair teams
- Ensuring optimised program to deliver services on schedule and to budget in accordance with Defence EMP.
- Use the Commonwealth Maintenance Management systems (CMMS) to plan and manage approved maintenance programs and work orders.
- Conduct maintenance work planning in line with the fleet maintenance planning directions.
- Identify maintenance tasks, parts and resources required and supporting scheduling of work by ensuring the availability of parts and materials.
- Provide feedback to Commonwealth Personnel on the progress of scheduled maintenance programs.
- In collaboration with Planners Schedulers and Technical Supervisors, resolve any issues associated with the planning expectations of the Commonwealth.
- Liaise with Planners to effect changes in scheduling to meet customer requirements.
Could you be our next Senior Regional Planner?
- Industry related experience in managing and coordinating complicated maintenance production and planning outputs.
- Proven planning experience in Defence is highly regarded but not essential.
- Highly developed understanding of Defence operations and Commonwealth Maintenance Management systems (CMMS) to coordinate and plan tasks for maintenance.
- Demonstrated competencies using computer applications - MILIS, SAP and/or Microsoft Office Suite Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills, people management, and client interface.
You must be an Australian citizen and able to maintain a Defence Security Clearance.
About the contract
Ventia is the Australian Defence Force (ADF) industry partner for the repair and maintenance of Army materiel including artillery, small arms, instrument repair, night vision equipment and all armoured vehicles and variants. We currently deliver approximately 900,000 maintenance hours annually and operate a 24/7 nationwide vehicle and equipment recovery service. As part of our contract with the ADF, Ventia provide materiel maintenance support of land-based equipment for Joint Logistics Unit (JLU). We operate in every Australian State and Territory with a 3,000-strong workforce consisting of passionate civilians and Defence Veterans.
