Hastings Family Medical Centre are seeking a Senior Registered Nursefor a full-time position (Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:00PM), who aligns with our values, that is focused on supporting our doctors with clinical procedures, and in providing the highest quality experience for our patients, from completing care plans and assessments to the management of their health care recovery to meet their overall health goals. The role involves strong clinical leadership, overseeing nurses, including working in various clinical areas, from coordinating Treatment Rooms to assisting with Chronic Disease Management. This role is suited for a nurse who is dedicated to quality improvement whilst providing mentorship and guidance to graduate and less experienced nurses.
What we need from you:
- Current unrestricted nursing registration with AHPRA
- Previous experience in a leadership role within General Practice (highly desired)
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills
- Team player, willing to take on responsibilities as required
- Highly motivated and flexibile to work a range of shifts, including night and weekend shifts (shared fairly within the team)
- Wound management
- Immunisations - childhood, adult & Covid-19
- Chronic Disease Management Plans & Health Assessments
- ECG, Pathology Collection & Spirometry
- Assist doctors with minor procedures
