The role involves strong clinical leadership, overseeing nurses, including working in various clinical areas, from coordinating Treatment Rooms to assisting with Chronic Disease Management. This role is suited for a nurse who is dedicated to quality improvement whilst providing mentorship and guidance to graduate and less experienced nurses.
What we need from you:
- Current unrestricted nursing registration with AHPRA
- Previous experience in a leadership role within General Practice (highly desired)
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills
- Team player, willing to take on responsibilities as required
- Highly motivated and flexibile to work a range of shifts, including night and weekend shifts (shared fairly within the team)
- Wound management
- Immunisations - childhood, adult & Covid-19
- Chronic Disease Management Plans & Health Assessments
- ECG, Pathology Collection & Spirometry
- Assist doctors with minor procedures
- Triaging & assessment
- Emergency treatment & care
- Recall & reminders
