Nurse Next Door is on the lookout for an experienced Registered Nurse to join us in the role of a Community Clinical Care Coordinator and staff Team Leader, supporting NDIS and Aged Care clients in their own homes. We call this role a Care Designer. Working 5 days per week you’ll be responsible for ensuring that our clients are safe and happy in their own homes.
Your Next AdventureReporting to our General Manager, your role will be to help manage a growing team of caregivers and nurses, and will include but will not be limited to the following:
- Design tailored and meaningful client care plans that foster positive relationships between our clients and the Care Team.
- Meet with potential clients to consult on their options for premium homecare services.
- Oversee client Clinical Care and maintain meticulous care documentation records.
- Be accountable for maintaining the high clinical standards set by Nurse Next Door.
- Assist in the performance management and development of a growing team of caregivers and nurses.

- Full time role 5 days per week with some flexibility and availability to work occasional evenings, weekends and on-call as required.
- Provide care to our clients as required by the business, particularly to cover one hour nursing visits and/or fill last minute vacant visits.

Why We'll Love You
- 10+ years experience as a Registered Nurse
- Passionate about making a difference
- Previous community care and care team management experience
- Catheter insertion experience (IDC/SPC) and wound care knowledge an asset.
- A self-led leader with the ability to take responsibility for your behavior & success.
- Ability to multitask and think “outside of the box”.
- Ability to identify and report client care concerns to the Managing Director.
- Experience mentoring and coaching a team of Personal Care Assistants / Support Workers in either a Home Care setting or Aged Care facility is highly regarded.
