- Reporting to the National Manager, EDR, the primary purpose of this role is to manage Allianz's relationship with AFCA to drive engagement on key disputes, themes and support the management of any potential systemic issues.
- Engaging with senior leaders across Allianz along with reporting accountabilities, AFCA, attending member forums, and bringing insights back to Allianz to improve our management of IDR and EDR disputes.
- Reviewing data and insights in relation to EDR volumes and support the production of reporting to ensure stakeholders understand how our performance is tracking at AFCA and what we need to do to improve/maintain as sound business practices.
- Reviewing AFCA costs each month with support from the Operations function and Customer Analytics and escalate any hot spots that need to be addressed.
- Driving engagement on key dispute themes and support the management of any potential systemic issues with urgency and focus.
- Reviewing, understanding, and communicating AFCA rule changes, updates, and approaches in partnership with the Complaints Technical Advisor and Process Knowledge Manager to ensure our procedures are kept up to date and our people are clear on their responsibilities.
- Ensuring we have a holistic approach to managing the AFCA relationship within Allianz across our various business divisions and prepare agenda content to support AFCA meetings.
- Supporting and maintain strong, trusted relationship with AFCA.
- Supporting the identification and management of potential systemic issues within Allianz (not raised by AFCA).
- Managing key learning's to foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning across Allianz.
- Deep experience in an account management role.
- Strong understanding of the general insurance claims and dispute resolution functions incl. RG271 and the General Insurance Code of Practice.
- Strong understanding of the insurance industry, key challenges, and opportunities.
- Strong understanding of risk and compliance frameworks and processes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and empower people to develop individual and team potential.
- Demonstrates the ability to deliver engaging and impactful presentations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact, and influence.
- Proven Account management ability including effective business planning, sales, negotiation skills, the ability to influence.
