Concentis has been engaged by one of our Tier-1 Mining Clients to source a Senior Reliability Engineer position with an Instrumentation & Controls background.
Located in the beautiful small town of Worsley, The opportunity welcomes applicants from local surrounding areas and other states who would be open to having a fully paid-for relocation. The stunning coastal city of Bunbury is a 45-minute drive from the site. This role will support a drive-in drive-out roster with the suited candidate living a maximum of 1 hour away from the site.
The purpose of the role is to drive asset availability improvements and manage asset lifecycles throughout. You will be working closely with key stakeholders to improve the quality and performance of various assets on site.
Responsibilities:
- Develop effective equipment maintenance strategies aligned with Asset Care Plan.
- Establish asset reliability metrics and utilise condition-based information for critical equipment.
- Collaborate with maintenance and production teams for defect elimination and
- Maintain disciplined Asset Management and change control processes.
- Analyze work management metrics to ensure compliance.
- Identify equipment requiring inspections and repairs based on legislative requirements.
- Assist in developing maintenance budget and capital requests.
- Provide technical expertise for Capital Projects as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Tertiary Qualification in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering.
- Graduate Certificate in Asset Management preferred.
- Chartered Membership of Engineers Australia eligible.
- Certificate in Asset Management and/or Reliability Centred Maintenance.
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office.
- 10+ years of experience in Refinery or heavy industry maintenance roles.
- Expertise in Australian and International standards for E&I systems.
