Roster: 4D/3R, 4D/3R, 8D/6R - FIFO ex Perth
Based on site, the Senior Reliability Engineer role is to lead, coach and mentor the reliability and graduate engineers. The Senior Reliability Engineer will also play an important role in driving continuous improvement and monitoring the defect elimination process to ensure effective action plans are in place to address all major issues.
Key Responsibilities- Create a high-performance team culture by leading and mentoring site-based engineers, graduate/vacation engineers to reach their full potential.
- Lead a strong reliability-based culture within the maintenance department.
- Support HME maintenance managers and superintendents understand and improve fleet performance
- Assist site-based Reliability Engineers manage workload and priorities.
- Work with HME specialists to optimise strategies, OEM engagement & escalations.
- Ensure fleet performance is well understood and all major maintenance drivers are being addressed.
- Drive FMG culture and performance through a strong focus on safety, family, frugality and determination
- Provide reliability support to site to ensure that equipment is being maintained in accordance with our maintenance strategies and WOL plans.
- Provide coverage of other core RE duties in the event of RE team absenteeism
- Work with AM&E leadership to define KPIs and work with Reliability Engineers to deliver upon these KPI's
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Post Graduate certificate in Reliability/ desirable
- Leadership / management training
- >4 years experience in a heavy mobile maintenance environment, or similar role
- Proven reliability experience
- Well-developed verbal and written skills
- Strong leadership & communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and be highly organized
- Ability to motive a team to deliver on stretched targets and deadlines
