Minara Resources has an opportunity for an experienced Senior Reliability and Condition Monitoring Engineer to join our established and dedicated team.

Our Murrin Murrin site in WA’s northern Goldfields is an integrated nickel and cobalt mining and processing operation employing over 1,000 people. The Role
The successful person will become a member of a hardworking and committed team who are responsible for the development and optimisation of long-term asset management plans and strategies aligned with the implementation of improvement opportunities.
You will be responsible for:
- Performing analysis to define and improve operating condition, reliability and costs of assets including asset Utilization, overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), & remaining useful life assessment;
- Develop reliability program monthly reports (MTBF, bad actors, etc.) and follow up Equipment Monitoring Program (EMP) programs and trends;
- Leading discussions on rotating machinery with stakeholders including Project Management Team, Consultants, vendors, contractors etc.;
- Developing asset's Fault analysis data base ensuring all data, drawings, and information are complete; and
- Contract management of plant inspection and NDT technicians.
About You
This role would suit a logical thinker with excellent organizational skills who can provide leadership to direct the asset management plan, and assume responsibility for improving asset reliability.
You will also have:
- Tertiary Qualification in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering Preferred);
- Vibration Certification Cat III (Desirable);
- Reliability Certification (CMRP , CRE) Desirable);
- Strong maintenance background with experience in rotating equipment, and their applications;
- Solid Proven experience in Reliability and Condition Monitoring in 24x7 processing plant environment ideally in mining, petrochemical , oil & gas or similar industry; and
- A current and valid C class Manual driver’s licence.
