About the Role:

The role involves working as a Data Analyst, contributing to the delivery of reports and analysis of data from both internal and external sources. The primary responsibility is to assist the business in making more informed decisions in a timely manner. This role will require you to demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to tell key messages back to the business.

Responsibilities:

1. Continually improve all training materials and deliver online and face-to-face training on the reporting suite to relevant teams.
2. Collaborate with other team members to find ways to improve data literacy, data quality, and data governance across the region.
3. Work with your manager and key business stakeholders to provide analysis across several initiatives.
4. Enhance and build out new reports/dashboards to support performance tracking and trend analysis.
5. Undertake analysis required to identify and monitor Data Quality issues across the core models.
6. Ensure compliance with all legal, statutory, and corporate affairs requirements.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or an Engineering-related discipline.
• At least 5+ years' experience in an insights analytics role within the Financial Services industry (Insurance or Banking).
• Strong proficiency in PowerBI, SQL, and Excel.
• Exposure to database management, data warehousing, or data lake technology, business glossary, and data dictionaries.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with various stakeholders.
