About the role
The Senior Analyst - Research and Planning (internally known as Senior Analyst - Training Segments) is responsible for undertaking Research and analysis on skills demand and industry needs. Based on this analysis they are required to determine the implications for skills and training and make recommendations about current and future TAFE NSW training areas. The position also contributes to the development of strategies for key delivery segments and priority and emerging industry sectors to guide training alignment to demand and influence TAFE NSW strategic positioning in these markets.
About You
You are a critical thinker with an understanding of the VET market and government agenda. You will have experience in undertaking detailed desktop Research and analysis using a wide range of sources to identify opportunities You will be able to formulate strategies and prepare robust and tailored written reports. Your excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, will ensure that any recommendations are communicated effectively to the organisation. Ideally you will have the ability to motivate and lead a small team drawing on your strong interpersonal skills.
