Pivotal opportunity for career minded Risk & Assurance professional. Substantial and values based healthcare enterprise. Broadly scoped role.
This is an exceptional opportunity to join a well known and highly respected Australian organisation which provides a broad range of services and programs designed to improve healthcare outcomes for all Australians. With a growing pipeline of Enterprise Risk Management programs the organisation now seeks to appoint a career minded Risk & Assurance professional to join its Corporate office.
Reporting to the Group Risk Officer your mandate will primarily be to ensure that the organisation’s Enterprise Risk Management framework and internal assurance and compliance programs meet the ongoing requirements of the business. As a key and senior specialist contributor, you will be expected to work with all levels of the organization, providing insightful and pragmatic advice to Business Unit Managers and to the Leadership Team whilst working ‘hands-on’ and collaboratively with every business unit, using your technical subject matter expertise and your energetic, collegial style to conduct risk and control reviews and to continuously develop and implement programs which deliver best practice risk management policies, controls and compliance procedures. Highly influential, you will also be expected to promote and to foster a culture which incorporates risk-based methodologies and compliance as critical and effective ‘value adds’ in operational and strategic decision making.
This broadly mandated role offers genuine scope for career development and is likely to appeal to a highly motivated Risk & Assurance professional who is seeking an opportunity to contribute to the long-term success of a substantial and complex enterprise. You might be an Analyst in a Consulting firm considering your first move to industry, or you may have similar relevant experience gained in a Corporate environment. Previous experience in supporting the development of Enterprise Risk Management frameworks and in conducting Risk & Assurance programs is essential, as is your ability to use your relevant subject matter expertise and your energetic interpersonal style to build collegial working relationships.
