The purpose of the TasWater Capital Delivery Office (CDO) is to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of quality capital works projects for TasWater that will meet the needs of TasWater's business, their stakeholders and the communities of Tasmania for years to come. - Drive improvements in safety performance through the delivery CDO safety programs
- Identifying and managing WH&S risks within the business
- Providing advice on ad supporting a safe and healthy workplace
- Ensuring that practices reflect the highest standards in WH&S
- Proactively participating adhoc projects, initiatives and tasks as required by the Safety Lead
- Developing, analyzing and reporting on complex project performance, compliance and defects and/or non-conformance
- 5 - 10 years in a Safety (H) (E) (Q) role in a construction environment, civil or mechanical/electrical/water infrastructure background
- High level of knowledge of safety (H) (E) (Q) management system techniques and tools
- Demonstrated skill and experience in qualitative risk assessment and development and monitoring of risk controls
- Demonstrated skill and experience in conducting and interpreting audits and reviews
- High level of knowledge of Safety (H) (E) (Q) legislation and statutes and ability to interpret any applicable statutes or legislation relevant to Project
