Senior Safety Advisor - Taswater South

The purpose of the TasWater Capital Delivery Office (CDO) is to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of quality capital works projects for TasWater that will meet the needs of TasWater's business, their stakeholders and the communities of Tasmania for years to come. • Drive improvements in safety performance through the delivery CDO safety programs
• Identifying and managing WH&S risks within the business
• Providing advice on ad supporting a safe and healthy workplace
• Ensuring that practices reflect the highest standards in WH&S
• Proactively participating adhoc projects, initiatives and tasks as required by the Safety Lead
• Developing, analyzing and reporting on complex project performance, compliance and defects and/or non-conformance

What you will have:

• 5 - 10 years in a Safety (H) (E) (Q) role in a construction environment, civil or mechanical/electrical/water infrastructure background
• High level of knowledge of safety (H) (E) (Q) management system techniques and tools
• Demonstrated skill and experience in qualitative risk assessment and development and monitoring of risk controls
• Demonstrated skill and experience in conducting and interpreting audits and reviews
• High level of knowledge of Safety (H) (E) (Q) legislation and statutes and ability to interpret any applicable statutes or legislation relevant to Project
