The Role    
 
Reporting to the Practise Leader, this role will collaborate with the Workplace Risk team in delivering consultancy services relating to WHS management. Engaging with clients across various sectors, you'll have the opportunity to aid them in implementing tailored WHS service packages to address their unique requirements. You'll be joining a team of experienced safety experts operating within a vibrant, proactive, and results-oriented setting. 
 
 
The Responsibilities 

• Develop and enhancing workplace health and safety (WHS) management systems and protocols, encompassing the development of WHS guidelines and protocols, devising strategies for WHS risk mitigation, and facilitating WHS educational sessions. 
• Performing assessments and examinations of WHS management, including audits, risk evaluations, and inquiries into incidents. 
• Utilising and participating in WHS data management systems utilized by our clients to document and oversee their WHS materials, records, and related data. 
• Carrying out investigations into significant incidents that occur within the workplace. 
• Collaborating with client representatives, WHS regulatory authorities, legal advisors, and other pertinent stakeholders involved in WHS oversight. 
• Visiting client sites to engage in discussions regarding their WHS requirements and preferences.

About you  

• Bachelor's Degree in OSH, Organisational Psychology, or related field; or Post Grad Degree in OSH. 
• Extensive WHS experience leading projects and performance initiatives. 
• Proven ability to develop strategic vision and motivate teams. 
• Certification or relevant courses in safety areas (e.g., Auditing, Hygiene). 
• Lead Auditor or working towards Exemplar Global registration. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and management systems. 
• Understanding of contemporary WHS practices, including hazard management, incident investigation, risk assessment, safety communication, training, and engagement processes. 
• Familiarity with workers' compensation systems and WHS impact. 
• Effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Strong writing ability for tailored reports. 
• Excellent organizational and time management skills. 
• Ability to meet urgent or peak demand deadlines.
