We are excited to announce we have a position available for a Senior Sales Representative to join our team. The geographical area you will be responsible for is South Australia.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for a vibrant person, preferably with experience with Plastics product knowledge, selling skills, technical abilities in plastics (plumbing, hose, health, building, retail goods), reporting skills and good communication
Day to day activities include but not limited to:
- Maintain Sales & Technical capabilities of our products to existing clients.
- Seek out new clients for the company
- Meet the requirements of the company’s budget in value, and volume.
- Ensure that ALL new products meet customers requirements.
- Maintain close communication with all clients (especially major accounts) and ensure service requirements are met and/or exceeded.
- Maintain control of allocated expenses.
- Liaise with Customer Service and Manufacturing / Warehousing Departments as necessary to ensure orders are delivered on time.
- Report as to the current market trends and client status.
- To perform all functions in keeping within the guidelines of the company’s Quality System.
- To perform any other tasks as necessary and as delegated by the Sales Manager or Directors.
- Travel via plane to Melbourne Head Office as and when required
Skills and Experience
- 3-5 years in a medium sized manufacturing company including “in field” selling with technical skills (eg tooling, engineering)
- Selling Skills, technical abilities in plastics (Plumbing, hose, health, building, retail goods)
- Market knowledge, product knowledge
- Effective communicator
- Computer skills
- Manage workload within time schedules, Budgets, report writing
