As a Construction Sales Representative, your primary objective will be to close sales of construction products for various projects. Reporting to the State Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Pursuing project specifications and inquiries to close orders for construction products.
- Exceeding monthly and yearly sales budgets and profit margins.
- Developing a sound knowledge of all construction products and effectively passing that knowledge onto customers.
- Utilising and maintaining the Sales Management System to maximise customer exposure and product awareness.
- Seeking new business opportunities and attending relevant shows and exhibitions.
- Liaising with the Customer Service Department to ensure customer order requirements are met.
- Maintaining a safe and professional work environment while actively participating in company meetings.
We are looking for candidates with:
- Qualifications in an Engineering or Sales/Business-related field.
- A minimum of 3 year's experience in a field-based sales role, preferably within the construction/building industry.
- Self-motivation, exceptional communication skills, and proven sales record.
- Ability to multitask, conduct presentations, and travel as needed.
- Intermediate MS Office skills and sound report writing abilities.
