Joining our dynamic team means not only utilising your technical prowess, but being part of a collaborative and forward-thinking environment that values your expertise and encourages creative problem-solving.The Senior Salesforce CRM Developer leads the design, development, configuration, testing and support of Deakin's Salesforce platform, provides consultation, solution design, development, support and governance for projects and teams, as well as leading strategic initiatives within the Digital Platforms team and Digital Services.As a Senior Salesforce CRM Developer, you will:

• Lead the solution analysis, design, development, support, documentation and governance of Salesforce CRM implementations.
• Use your understanding of the client to anticipate needs, tailor services, respond to feedback, improve our service offering and ensure high-quality outcomes and service standards.
• Ensure all Salesforce related solutions and applications are appropriately integrated, designed, developed, optimised and maintained to deliver superior digital experiences and business outcomes.
• Use accepted theory and best practices to develop and deploy solutions that implement continuous improvement strategies in your own work area
• Challenge and improve existing processes by recognising deficiencies and formulating creative and inclusive solutions
• Provide solutions that meet business requirements, conform to best practice standards, are fully tested and are accurately documented

In your first 6-12 months, you will:

• Settle in, learn the Deakin landscape, get to know your teams, and the technologies you will be working using.
• Establish relationships and connections with teams while comprehending our vision, objectives, and team inclusion agreements.
• Work with your delivery stream and practice team to deliver initiatives, features, and change requests to improve the teaching, learning, research and administration experiences at Deakin.
• Become the voice and subject matter expert for your domain. Provide guidance and assistance on inquiries pertaining to Integration for various individuals.

To be successful, you'll have:

• An equivalent combination of training and experience or a Post Graduate qualification or progression towards a postgraduate in Computer Science/Information Technology or relevant discipline.
• Significant development and configuration experience in the Salesforce ecosystem. Relevant certification(s) would be highly regarded.
• Experience in an Agile delivery environment.
• Strong experience with Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud Platform DevOps.
• Extensive development expertise across a variety of application development platforms, languages and technologies with a strong record of leading and completing projects.
