As a Senior Scheduling Officer, you will be responsible for planning, organising, and coordinating major work activities for SEQ Facilities. You will work closely with various teams to ensure that work projects are executed seamlessly, on time, and within budget, minimising downtime and optimising productivity.
Day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include
- Create, detailed outage management plans with clear, concise information regarding all work activities, timeframes and resources
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure all aspects of the works are well-coordinated and executed efficiently
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on work schedules, progress, and any potential issues
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to ensure a secure working environment during major work activities
- Document and analyse performance to identify opportunities for improvement
- Previous experience coordinating and executing major facilities work programs
- Strong understanding of asset management processes, maintenance processes, and shutdown planning
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure
- Proven experience of working towards deadlines - with ability to be highly adaptable to changing deadlines and tasks
- Excellent communication skills - with ability to establish and develop working relationships with stakeholders
- Knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to implement effective safety protocols
