About the Role: 

The Scheduling Officer will play a vital role in ensuring efficient and logistical support for the CURA Care Staff, through the scheduling of our teams in a timely and effective manner. Operating under the supervision of the Client Experience Team Leader, the Scheduling Officer will collaborate on the development of operational procedures, actively participate in problem solving and, at times, act as a liaison between our CURA Service Team and clients, where changes to the scheduling may occur. 

What you will do:

  • Development and maintenance of schedules within the client information systems, including preparation of Care Staff rosters, day-to-day management of rosters in real time and ensuring scheduling consistently meets key service indicators. 
  • Monitoring of staffing resources and raising awareness of client and staffing needs to the Client Experience Team Leader, including client complaints, clients staff requests and staff absenteeism or lateness. 
  • Provision of broader client services through regular participation and contribution to the review of existing, and development of new, operational processes of CURA. 
  • Liaising with CURA Service Team to inform of changes to client service schedules and where required, liaising with clients and their families in a professional and friendly manner. 

About You:

  • Minimum 2 years' proven experience in a fast-paced, complex scheduling environment. 
  • Proficiency with Client Information System(s) such as AlayaCare (or similar). 
  • High degree of initiative with the ability to manage multiple and conflicting priorities.
  • Well-developed communication skills with highly developed telephone etiquette to liaise with clients and their families. 
  • Keen interest in working with seniors and individuals from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and within a team environment. 
  • High level computer and literacy skills with the ability to problem solves.
