Senior Security Engineer - Broad, Technical Role

The Company

Australian based, global company that is listed on the stock exchange and is now in countries across Asia Pac, Europe & the Americas.

This company focuses on Products / Software Solutions for logistics companies around the world and with thousands of users.

The Role

With a mix of project work and BAU, which includes being an escalation point for security incidents, you will partner with the security function to provide monitoring & analysis, using a variety of tools.

Liaising with stakeholders and involved in high level solution design, you will also be involved in the development, deployment & maintenance of information system solutions.

Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated experience in a Senior Security / Cyber Security role with strong, broad technical skills
• Experience with both Windows & Linux Operating Systems
• Experience with virtualisation and networking fundamentals
• Encryption & application fundamentals
• Some experience with CI/CD pipelines & scripting is advantageous
• Development languages, such as Python or GO are advantageous but not mandatory
• Tertiary Degree in IT or relevant discipline
• Industry Certifications, such as those relating to Windows/Linux or Cyber Security are a bonus
