AddressA Major Bank in Sydney is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer for a 12 month contract highly likely to extend.
The role will require 2 days a week in the office. This role is fairly hands on, a mix of design build/ implementation across firewalls (Juniper SRX and Checkpoint) / F5 and Cisco R&S.
Responsibilities:
- Project design work (if the candidate desires).
- Management of network and security performance by monitoring, troubleshooting, reporting and continuous improvement so as to optimise performance.
- Make recommendations and assist in the design and implementation
- Provide technical consultation to business/technology stakeholders
- Management of network system backup and restore services
- Secures network system by establishing and enforcing policies; defining and monitoring access
Key Skills / Experience:
- Strong Design and implementation skills in the below:
- Strong firewalls (Juniper SRX and CheckPoint)
- Load Balancing (F5 - LTM, GTM)
- Desired Switching and Routing (Cisco, Nexus,)
- Financial Services / Large enterprise experience
