What you'll contribute to
The Senior Security Specialist (Operations) is primarily responsible for the implementation and ongoing management of security technologies and infrastructure to ensure they function as expected and are managed securely. The successful applicant will implement, monitor, and review the security systems that protect TMCA computer systems and data with a view to ensuring Toyota's confidentiality, integrity, availability, privacy and recovery is secured, while supporting and advancing business objectives
The role is part of the Information Systems Division (ISD) which is responsible for providing strategic Information and Technology leadership, reliable enterprise solutions and innovative workstyle services to TMCA, our Dealers and our Guests, to enable the achievement of Toyota's business objectives.
The role is based at Port Melbourne and is Permanent Full time.
How you'll make an impact
- Identify, implement and review agreed IT security systems, processes and procedures consistent with set policies in order to identify any risks or vulnerabilities and suggest enhancements to existing security processes
- Investigate, provide advice on, respond to, and report on security incidents as directed in order to liaise with other business units in the identification of controls and preparation of reports to management.
- Manage the external security providers in implementing IT Security plans consistent with set policies in order to achieve agreed IT Security objectives. In doing so, ensures that the activities of their team are aligned with the long-term business plans, compliance requirements and overall profitability objectives of Toyota.
- Coordinate the development and implementation of strategy, frameworks and detailed plans for all IT Security objectives, communicate and monitor/report performance against targets to ensure deliverables are on schedule.
- Collaborate with vendors and other stakeholders in order to secure delivery of IT Security services at expected quality and at optimal cost. Manages ongoing stakeholder relationships in order to build strategic partnerships whilst minimising stakeholder dependency risks.

- Degree qualification or equivalent experience in IT
- At least 5+ years' specialising in Information Security coupled with relevant formal education or certification.
- At least 5 years' experience in information Security and/or cybersecurity within a medium-to-large corporate IT environment; with strong working knowledge of cybersecurity technologies covering the corporate network as well as the broader digital ecosystem
- Professional security management certification is desirable, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or other similar credentials
- Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, ITIL, COBIT and NIST CSF
- Strong working knowledge of cybersecurity technologies covering the corporate network as well as the broader digital ecosystem.
