I am seeking Senior Sharepoint Developer for a client in Melbourne to take up a 8 months contract with a view of extension.

We requiress a SharePoint migration service to transition from SharePoint 2013 on premise to SharePoint Online. Resource(s) will need to be embedded into an Agile Scrum Delivery team.

Your day at NTT

• • Migrate data from SharePoint 2013 to SharePoint Online team sites – lift and shift​.
  • SharePoint online site will be of template STS#3 which is a modern team site with no group connected​.
  • Users will have a modern experience of all the content migrated along with the l pages.​
  • Modern team site with no M365 group gives us the flexibility of having classic features enabled.​
  • Long term goal of the program is to move sites/users to Modern Teams ​
  • The work activity will be based on product backlog items from sprint to sprint.
  • Use the out-of-the-box features for SharePoint Online

    Premigration activities

    • pre-migration analysis, analysis of complex applications, execution of SMAT tool.  This will be completed prior to the engagement
    • classification of sites: simple, medium and complex
    • set up migration tools and virtual machines.
    • migration registry/tracker
    • pre-migration and post migration scripts
    • setting up the wave plan alongside the team to undertake migration, configuration and rebuild activities.
    • Remediate issues identified during the pre-migration check.

What would make you a good fit for this role?

• Configuration and enabling of the features in SharePoint Online to support the sites and records management requirements, within the department’s ecosystem reflecting SharePoint 2013 capabilities.
• Perform quality assurance checks and document evidence of post migration validation.  Review migration logs
• Perform delta migration to fix any issues identified from the migration
• Develop validation scripts using PowerShell (e.g. counts and versions)
• Where identified, develop the content publishing workflows to support automation, user engagement, and business process, including interactions with other Microsoft applications including Power Automate, etc.
• Applying administrative settings that support the departments policies and standards.
• Provide documentation that captures the knowledge required for the departments SharePoint platform support team to provide support for the migrated sites. 
• Other duties as required.
• Liaise with the Knowledge Solutions team for the required configuration on the migrated sites for other technical applications such as Record 365.
