Woolworths Food Company. Crucially, the role provides leadership, coaching, advice, care and support to ensure the safe operations of the business, promoting the health, safety and wellbeing of our teams.The SH&W Senior
Business Partner is accountable for uplifting and driving enhanced safety maturity within WFC and supporting SH&W transformation of the wider Woolworths Group. Strong collaboration across a broad range of external stakeholders will be key to success.This role will ensure that our risk management frameworks, policies, procedures and priorities are contextualised and implemented successfully 'on the ground'.
What you'll do:- Gain a deep understanding of key hazard and risk control mitigations and ability to ensure these are successfully implemented to achieve the desired business outcomes and measures
- Play an active role in shaping and championing safety management systems and processes, advocate for and participate in deployment and enhancement activities, supporting and guiding our end users
- Support Business leaders to investigate Level 1 incidents and investigate Level 2 incidents in line with Group standards.
- Escalate investigation results to Leadership team, partnering with teams to ensure actions are closed within appropriate timeframes
- Partner with senior leadership teams to encourage the engagement and education of team members
What you'll bring:- At least 7 years relevant work experience, ideally within retail, manufacturing or similar fast paced environment, with 3 years at a senior level
- Bachelor degree, preferably in Safety or related field
- Experience with interpreting Business strategy in order to set and deliver objectives within near term frames
- Strong knowledge and experience of safety risk management
- Experience with fast paced environment, with growing complexity
- Strong verbal and written communication including presentations
