As the Senior Human Resources Business Partner (Senior HRBP), reporting to the Group HR & L&D Manager based in Brisbane, you will be an invaluable resource in supporting the 1500 employees across the Toyota Tsusho South Pacific Holdings (TTSPH) Group.
About Us:
Toyota Tsusho South Pacific Holdings Pty Ltd (TTSPH) is a subsidiary of Toyota Tsusho Corporation (TTC) and is the headquarters for the South Pacific division. Based in South Brisbane, TTSPH supports seven of our directly owned affiliated Toyota Distributors within the South Pacific, namely Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Vanuatu, Solomon Islands, Samoa, American Samoa, and Tonga. TTSPH are also authorised resellers of Hino, Yamaha and Massey Ferguson, as well as used vehicles, car rentals and fuel stations.
The HR community consists of HR Generalist and Learning and Development professionals in Brisbane who support large HR teams based in Fiji and Papua New Guinea, where the majority of the workforce are located. The Brisbane Head Office HR Team also supports the HR function in the smaller countries.
What you’ll be doing:
As a Senior HRBP, you will be expected to consult and create solutions at a strategic, commercial level and provide tactical HR support. You will develop effective working relationships, influencing senior leaders in delivering the people agenda to support the business strategy.
Key aspects of the role include:
- Delivering on strategic projects and initiatives designed to enhance people and company performance.
- Leading change management initiatives including technology implementation and organisational change.
- Analysing workforce data and trends to advise on talent management, retention and attraction strategies.
- Partnering with business leaders to provide coaching and guidance to enhance leadership capability and build engagement across teams.
- Managing and supporting employee relations matters and advice to the business on IR changes and compliance requirements based on Australian legislation.
- Supporting the HR teams with the variety of HR matters and projects underway.
- A collaborative and team-based attitude with the perspective of achieving through mutual success.
- Understanding of HR best practices, compensation & benefits, employee relations and talent management.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and change management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leadership, coaching and influencing decisions.
- Experience working in a geographically diverse or global organisation would be ideal.
- High emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.
