We are recruiting an experienced and motivated Senior Sleep Scientist to develop and grow our sleep service in Ipswich. The successful candidate will join a friendly team dedicated to high quality and ethical patient care.
The Role:
The Senior Scientist will be overseeing the running of the sleep investigation service and supervising staff and associates.
- Supervision and training of sleep service staff.
- Development of an evidence based sleep investigation service.
- Processing sleep studies.
- Tracking sleep investigations.
- Coordinating rostering.
- Ordering consumables.
- Data management.
- Service quality control.
- Communication with associated entities.
- Managing hardware and software issues.
- Developing policy and procedures.
The candidate:
- Experienced in polysomnographic assessment and laboratory management.
- Tertiary degree qualification with specific human physiology measurement training.
- IT competence and experience with Polysomnography systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative leadership qualities.
- Vision.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to integrate into a team.
