We provide technical services to the Australian energy and resources sector with specific experience in the Minerals and Mining, Oil and Gas, Infrastructure, and Power Generation Industries.
In light of our recent expansion and growth, PARC are now seeking to appoint an experienced Senior SMP Project Engineer with a strong site engineering background, to join our team on an exciting new project for a Tier One client in Pilbara.

This is a site-based role on a 2:1 roster, FIFO, ex Perth, reporting directly to the Lead Project Engineer, some of your responsibilities will include, but not limited to: -
- Working closely with the site Construction Manager and Superintendent to ensure successful project execution.
- Assisting the Project Manager with assessing ingoing and outgoing Progress Claims.
- Assisting the Project Planner with ongoing project progress updates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including contractors, and other stakeholders, to ensure project requirements are met.
- Read, understand, and interpret design drawings, specifications and cost estimates for on site planning and implementation.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions as deemed necessary.
- Ensure compliance with site and industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project team members on site.
- Cultivate positive client relationships and participate in project meetings and presentations.
- Building and reviewing of Inspection Test Plans, Registers, and Checklists applicable to the project.
- Assisting with the raising and reviewing of project related Technical Queries.
- Ongoing monitoring and collation of the project relevant Material Data Records
Role Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Mechanical engineering or equivalent
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, with experience in the Construction and NPI fields.
- Strong understanding of project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure phases.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for contract negotiations and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficient in using computer-based programs such as Excel, Project, and other relevant software, as well as project management tools and software.
- Full Australian Working Rights.
