About the role:
- The ISMHU Senior Social Worker is an integral part of the multidisciplinary team, and is one of two Social Workers on the team on the team. The role presents an opportunity to provide genuine recovery oriented practice as part of a highly collaborative care team.
- The role includes contributing to multidisciplinary care coordination; working with individuals and groups around enhancing mental health recovery and psychosocial rehabilitation; conducting and documenting appropriate assessments; and contributing to a positive and person centred workplace culture.
- This is a great opportunity to further develop clinical skills in the specialist area of mental health rehabilitation and recovery, with the support of and input from an experienced multidisciplinary team.
- This position is full time; however, job share and/or part time arrangements will be considered.
Requirements:
- Bachelor in Social Work or equivalent with eligibility for membership with Australian Association of Social Work (AASW)

- Ability to undertake psychosocial assessments, work alongside family and carers, and an understanding of the NDIS and the CMO sector would be a great advantage.
