Form of workLeading state government department has an immediate need for a Senior Software Developer to join them on a long-term contract. As a Senior Software Developer, you'll be at the forefront of the software development process. From designing and coding to testing and documentation, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of complex system components. Additionally, you'll play a key role in defining technical criteria for product selection and providing invaluable advice on business system solutions to both internal and external stakeholders. Your expertise in C# and .NET Framework development, coupled with web service programming, will be pivotal for success. Plus, you'll be the go-to person for providing timely support to applications.
About you:
- Must be based in Brisbane;
- Proficiency in Microsoft .NET Framework / Core (C#), Java and Microsoft Design Patterns (MVC, MVVM, Razor);
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Visual Studio 2022, Azure DevOps, TeamCity, DevOps and Testing Frameworks (MSTest, NUnit, Gherkin, SpecFlow);
- Familiarity with Entity Framework, Dapper, SQL and Microsoft Web Services technologies;
- Strong grasp of all phases of the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC);
- Proven track record in programming / software development within complex public and private environments;
- Desirable: Knowledge of Secure Software Development Lifecycle;
- Experience in Cross-Functional Agile teams; and
- Familiarity with Java development technologies and Microsoft Web Platform.
