We are looking for an experienced Software Developer who has experience in Visualfiles or a willingness to became the application expert and take on the lead role supporting this key enterprise business application within the Information Technology (IT) teamLAQ's IT team is responsible for the development, operation and support of information systems and related technologies across our state-wide business. We have responsibility for the management and security of corporate wide business applications and associated information technology infrastructure, including a state-wide data network.We are recruiting for a Senior Software Developer who will be responsible for the analysis and development within the Visualfiles application.What will you do?
- Apply design, system engineering and programming skills to develop and support business applications through use of contemporary development technologies and practices.
- Liaise with clients and other stakeholders to identify development needs and provide advice in designing technical solutions to meet identified business requirements within enterprise business applications.
- Undertake analysis, programming, testing, documentation, implementation and support in accordance with Legal Aid Queensland development standards and procedures.
- Provide advice and assist in the planning of Information Technology projects.
- Maintenance of relevant supporting documentation such as procedures, standards and guidelines relevant to corporate business applications.
- Triage and respond to incident tickets as the 2nd tier of support.
- Visualfiles experience, including scripting, is highly desired or the ability to acquire specialist knowledge to support this key enterprise application.
- Relevant experience in technologies currently deployed in LAQ, such as HTML, JavaScript, IIS, C#.
- Experience in the analyse technical business requirements and developing appropriate solutions.
- Experience in resolution of technical issues relating to enterprise business applications.
- A good track record of creating and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders
- Experience in ICT project delivery - including assessing needs, meeting timeframes, delivering outcomes and adapting to changing requirements.
- Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary developments, issues, trends and best practice relating to application development within the information technology industry.
