🚀 About the opportunity 🚀
- Develop innovative products used to enhance autonomy both in underground and open pit mines.
- Participate in all stages of software design, implementation, testing, and product release.
- Contribute to the design of system architecture.
- Work as part of a talented team of software engineers and engineers from other disciplines across different projects.
- Support test features through both simulations and the physical product.
- Work across a codebase of C++ and Python on a Linux operating system.
- Work to create new features on existing products, maintain and customize features, and be involved in the development of new products.
- Position can be adjusted for an intermediate level of experience with 3+ years experience for the right candidate.

👤 About you 👤
- Qualifications in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to turn user requirements into an effective engineering design.
- You’ve worked with contemporary software development lifecycle practices for task management, source code version control, continuous integration, and unit testing.
- Experience working on Linux or a similar operating system.
- An interest in embedded software, electronics, robotics and automation is beneficial.
- Strong programming skills in either C++ or Python for complex product development.
- Experience with sensing, communications, and location technologies is beneficial.
- Be based in Western Australia and hold unlimited working rights.
