The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for you to use your expertise as a Lead Developer to provde technical guidance and lead the E-Commerce Solution definition. This is a technical domain architecture and application development activities for Telstra across discovery, design, evolve and operations on Telstra’s Salesforce CRM platforms.
We would love you to develop and coordinate the solution & delivery aspects of all Telstra’s Salesforce CRM systems implementations, using your effective communication and ability to foster strong relationships with business users and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with the functional team to determine how best to implement the solution.
- Provide expert platform knowledge to the project team.
- Provide knowledge and guidance on security best practices, integration patterns and own the end-to-end technical solution on the project.
- Design, develop, and deploy reference services and GitLab pipelines within specific problem spaces critical to Telstra's needs.
- Review and integrate all application requirements, including functional, security, integration, performance, quality, and operations requirements.
- Apply engineering best practices, including Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and DevOps, while collaborating with a high-performing and motivated team.
- Thrive in a dynamic and autonomous environment, actively contributing to small, agile, and cross-functional teams.
- Degree level IT qualifications in Software or Systems Engineering.
- 7-10 years’ experience in E-Commerce implementation, consulting or technical lead role, with at least 1-2 years of hands-on experience as a Senior developer specialized in E-Commerce SaaS such as Marketplacer and 5-6 years’ experience as a Full stack developer.
- Application Development skills
- Hands-on experience in developing microservice applications using a variety of technologies and frameworks such as Java, Spring, Node.js, Python, Angular, or React (We are looking for engineers with expertise in different tech stacks, not necessarily all in one person).
- Strong knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing.
- Expertise in working with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Certification in any of these platforms is a plus. (We are seeking engineers with diverse cloud expertise, not necessarily all in one person).
- Excellent debugging and analysis skills
- DevOps Skills (Good to have)
- Proficient in implementing DevSecOps best practices and setting up CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
- Hands on with Infrastructure build and automation tool- (Infra as Code - IaC) - Terraform/cloudformation, Ansible
- Experience in container orchestration technologies such as kubernatives - automating deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
