The role
Responsibilities include but aren't limited to -
- Responsible for oversight of Financial Accounting processes, including workers’ compensation, intercompany, cash/banking transactions, prepayments, E-commerce, FX revaluation
- Review of balance sheet reconciliations
- Year-end planning
- Liaise with auditors
- Liaise with other business stakeholders (IT, global team)
- Drive success of offshore function
- Review & maintenance of controls
- Investigate SAP system issues and troubleshoot
- Resolve inquiries from Head Office
- Involvement in implementation of new projects
- Month-end calculation of inventory COGS
- COGS monitoring
- CPA/CA qualified desired but not essential - happy to consider those working towards full qualification
- Chartered first or second-time mover (ideal but non-essential)
- Dynamic and a high-performer - this business is growing quickly and needs someone who is competent enough to help scale the business
