The Opportunity
As a Senior Solicitor or Associate on a permanent basis in our Personal Injury (WorkCover & TAC) in our Melbourne CBD office, you’ll be on the frontline as we doggedly seek justice. This is an excellent opportunity for an Associate, with experience contributing to the success of Personal Injury practice, or for a Solicitor orSenior Solicitor seeking to step up into an Associate position.
Whether you’ve come from defendant or plaintiff practice, you will have the opportunity to take a leading role on a volume of personal injury cases, and with mentorship from a Legal Practice Manager, who is an industry-leading expert in WorkCover and TAC, you will have an ideal balance of autonomy and guidance.
While this is a full-time opportunity, we are open to offering flexible work arrangement options, including work from home options once established, and part-time options, with a minimum of 4 days per week.

- Providing clients with legal advice and representation to obtain compensation
- Work across a variety of client matters that require a high level of sensitivity
- Provide legal advice to each client's particular matter to suit their level of understanding
- Develop and maintain strong professional working relationships with clients, including effective and regular communication and managing the client's expectations
- Draft legal documentation with a high degree of attention to detail
- Manage and run a file load with a high level of commercial and fiscal awareness
To thrive in this role, you’ll have:
- A Bachelor of Laws with a current practising certificate.
- Post-admission experience in WorkCover and/or TAC cases.
- A passion and drive to build a career as a personal injury solicitor.
- A strong understanding of, and ability to interpret the relevant legislation and legal documentation.
- Enjoy working on legally challenging and factually complex matters
- Maturity and confidence to deal with clients who may be experiencing trauma
- A desire to be part of a strong, cohesive team that works together to get great results
- An innate ability to question, challenge the status quo and always stay ahead of the pack.
- A commitment to truly connect with those around you and work together to deliver exceptional results for our clients.
