Are you an experienced Solution Architect looking for a challenging opportunity in the mining industry? Join our leading mining company based in Western Australia and play a pivotal role in leveraging modern design and delivery practices. This 12-month contract offers a unique chance to make a significant impact on the technological landscape of one of the most dynamic industries.
You will be join a growing Digital Services Team in their Energy space. You will be an integral member of the team driving the robust and comprehensive digital and data strategy focused on creating measurable business value from the companies Energy data. This will enable, accelerate & champion data-led decision-making across the business and support new business models and services.
Job role:
- Business context and value: Identify key business drivers for executing on an digital and data strategy, build compelling and relevant use cases, understand the Client's culture and business needs, to articulated vision, principles, and goals for the digital and data strategy.
- Lead IT-OT maturity assessment, architecture and blue printing for digital transformations/ data driven for manufacturing and plant operations
- Ensure the business units have solid foundation: Understand the current digital and data environment, data management enablers including data acquisition (IIOT/OT), people, skill sets, roles, and structure. Identifying the gaps and developing a roadmap for success, then executing on it.
- Be a change leader driving the strategy through effective change management and communication by building and fostering a data driven culture.
The ideal candidate will be customer obsessed, analytical with strong communication skills to translate and articulate business objectives and technical needs to a larger audience including influencing skills with peers and senior management.
Skills needed:
- Strong knowledge of Industry 4.0 and Smart Factory technologies, secure digital architectures, machine connectivity, data engineering and data analytics
- Working in End-to-End Implementation for Industry4.0 transformation.
- Interfacing and integration with operational technologies- MES, Historians, SCADA, PLC, DCS etc
- Experience in use of and integration with standard industrial protocols including OPC (UA, DA, AE), Modbus, Profibus , Ethernet-TCP etc
- Sound knowledge of industrial operations, functions, related workflows, KPIs etc
- Sound knowledge of industrial data gateway/ servers technologies
- Should have excellent communication skills and enterprise architecture mindset (5+ years of experience in interfacing with customer)
Highly desirable
- Knowledge of interfacing with on-premise to cloud IoT connectivity and corresponding services in - Ignition, AWS (Sitewaise, Greengrass, IoT Core etc),
- OT master data management, contextualization and streaming
- Should have worked on delivering projects in agile methodology
