Form of work In this role, you will help us define and deliver end-to-end architecture, working with business experts to understand their needs and with engineering teams to define technically excellent solutions. You will be a passionate technologist who loves working in software delivery and will enjoy the challenge of joining us on our journey to a 100% cloud platform. You will dive into the details and collaboratively deliver forward thinking, pragmatic outcomes.
You will work on a variety of Central and Finance initiatives. This will include delivering regulatory reporting, operational improvement, and business enablement solutions. For example, you may help us uplift capital and liquidity management and reporting capabilities, roll out a subledger replacement, or take the lead on other architecting other critical deliveries.
You will work closely with various teams to uncover and articulate business requirements and ensure business processes are considered and optimised. Engage with our data governance and architecture teams to incorporate data governance and control related requirements. Interface with technical teams to help them understand and translate the functional architecture into technical architecture solutions and help break down the phases and streams of work and create roadmaps to realize the solution
To be successful in this role you will have:
A software development background with solution architecture experience
An understanding of institutional trading front to back and finance concepts
Experience with data management concepts and principles and the ability to incorporate the concerns, principles and best practices into all solution decision process
Ideally you will have:
Java, Python, C++, data engineering and/or cloud (AWS) technology expertise
Specialised experience in Financial and Accounting systems, having worked with treasury, financial control, or product control
